Hmm… I’m not sure how to take that. :>) When you think of “church,” is that what you think?

Yes, I think the “church” (believers in Christ) has let everyone down with how we use the term. I’m just trying to help clarify what we’re really talking about here.

When we meet as believers, whether we’re in a particular builder or not, we are the church. And when Christ says He’s coming back for the church, He’s not talking about all those buildings with steeples.

When I became a Christian (for real) the idea that church is not a building blew me away. I thought it was so awesome but I’ve never gone much further than that in my thinking. Thanks for writing this.
