In a way, I totally agree... if anything, even serving in the ministry, is keeping someone to fall away from God, then no should be the response to it. But I think what made me pause was the idea that serving could get in the way of one's relationship with God. It's something I've thought about before, but for some reason it hit me differently this time. I think I might write a post about it sometime (maybe next week).
